STAUNTON – Route 603 (Cove Creek Road), from 0.40 mile west of the intersection of Route 603 and Route 311 (Kanawha Trail) in Alleghany County, will be closed to replace a drainage pipe from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 7.

Motorists may use the following detour: Westbound on Route 603, continue on Route 603 into West Virginia and take Route 311 north to Covington.

Signs will be posted and motorists are advised to use extreme caution while traveling through the work zone.

All work is weather permitting.
