PORTIONS OF ROUTE 647 AND ROUTE 655 IN FREDERICK COUNTY TO CLOSE NIGHT OF JUNE 8 FOR PAVEMENT MARKING WORK


STAUNTON – Two Stephens City area roads will be closed for pavement marking work on the night of June 8. This work is in Frederick County.

Route 647 (Aylor Road) from Route 277 to 0.3 mile north of Route 277 will be closed from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Route 655 (Sulphur Springs Road) from Route 50 to the Clarke County Line will be closed from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

All work is weather permitting.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
