ALL LANES OPEN ON I-81 NORTHBOUND AT MILE MARKER 302 IN FREDERICK COUNTY
Other accidents in Shenandoah and Frederick Counties have lane closures
A multi-vehicle accident at mile marker 287 northbound on Interstate 81 has closed all northbound lanes. This location is between exit 282 at Route 42 in Woodstock and exit 291 at Route 651 in Toms Brook. Northbound motorists are getting by on the right shoulder.
A multiple vehicle accident in the I-81 northbound lanes at mile marker 296 involving tractor trailers and cars closed all northbound lanes. This location is near exit 296 at Route 55. It is reported by the Staunton Traffic Operation Center that the tractor trailers fires have been put out. Northbound motorists are getting by on the right shoulder.
At mile marker 316.6 in the northbound lane there are clean-up operations from an accident that occurred earlier today. This location is in the Winchester area between exit 315 at Route 7 and exit 317 at Route 11. Motorists should be aware of left lane and left shoulder closures in this area.
Significant delays should be expected in these accident areas.
