I-81 SINGLE LANE CLOSURE WILL BE SATURDAY NORTHBOUND AT MILEMARKER 231 FOR ACCIDENT CLEAN-UP
STAUNTON - One lane will be closed on Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 231 in Augusta County for clean-up operations due to an accident on January 17. The closure will be on Saturday, January 19 from 6 a.m. until noon. This location is between exit 227 in Verona and exit 235 at Weyers Cave.
Crews will be removing a tractor trailer that went over the guardrail. The guardrail will be removed and replaced as part of these operations.
