VDOT RESPONDS TO INCREASED DEMAND FOR E-ZPASS IN HAMPTON ROADS
RICHMOND — Due to increased demand for E-ZPass transponders in Hampton Roads, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) experienced heavy traffic volume on its E-ZPass Virginia website (EZPassVA.com) resulting in delayed site functions. Additionally, VDOT today announced plans to make signing up for E-ZPass more convenient for Hampton Roads residents.
The E-ZPass Customer Service Centers in Norfolk and Portsmouth will extend hours to weekends beginning Saturday, Jan. 4, to accommodate increased demand for E-ZPass transponders.
