TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 781 (LICK RUN ROAD) PIPE REPLACEMENT TO IMPACT TRAFFIC IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY

SALEM – Weather permitting, a section of Route 781 (Lick Run Road) in the McCoy area of Montgomery County will be closed to through traffic on Monday, June 6, due a pipe replacement.

Route 781 will be closed about 0.8-mile south of its intersection with Route 708 (Norris Run Road) starting around 7 a.m.  Message boards will be installed to alert drivers to the closure.

Drivers will need to seek alternate routes during the closure.

Lick Run Road is expected to reopen on Tuesday, June 7, but flaggers will be controlling traffic during daytime hours on weekdays until June 10.

Completion of the work is weather dependent and could be extended.
