TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 667 (MAYLAND ROAD) BRIDGE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS IN ROANOKE COUNTY

SALEM – Beginning September 12, Route 667 (Mayland Road) in Roanoke County is scheduled to be closed for up to thirty days while a bridge over a branch of Back Creek is replaced with a box culvert. 

The bridge is located on Route 667 (Mayland Road), 0.15 mile from Route 668 (Yellow Mountain Road), and 0.25 mile from Route 666 (Bandy Road). 

Signs will be posted notifying the traveling public of the closure and drivers will need to find alternates routes.

Weather permitting, the roadway is expected to reopen in mid-October.
