VDOT and contractor prepare to begin construction
SALEM —The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a “Pardon Our Dust” public information meeting as construction on the project is scheduled to begin.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28 at Lord Botetourt High School from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be no formal presentation given, but VDOT representatives and representatives from the project contractor, Branch Highways, will be present to answer questions about the project, potential traffic impacts and the schedule of construction in an open house format throughout the evening.
