TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT ROUTE 24 AND ROUTE 651 IN BEDFORD COUNTY CHANGES TO FLASHING YELLOW ARROW NEXT WEEK

SALEM – Next week, work to modify the traffic signal located at the intersection of Route 24 (Stewartsville Road) and Route 651 (Mountain View Road) in Bedford County will begin.

The work will be completed by the end of the week, and drivers can expect a new flashing yellow arrow left turn indicator at the intersection.

The change will allow drivers to make a left turn from eastbound Route 24 onto northbound Route 651 when the signal displays a flashing yellow arrow.  When the yellow arrow is flashing, drivers must yield to oncoming traffic before turning left.

This change will only affect the eastbound Route 24 traffic turning onto Mountain View Road.
