TRAFFIC ALERT: SECTION OF ROUTE 1652 WILL CLOSE FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT IN ROANOKE COUNTY

SALEM – Beginning Monday, June 8, work will begin on a section of Route 1652 (Farmington Drive) for a pipe culvert replacement over Mudlick Creek.

Traffic will have access to the road on either side of the work zone area, but the road will be closed to thru traffic at the culvert for 60 days. A detour will be in place and signs will direct traffic.

Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open in mid-August 2015. The project is expected to be completed by September 4, 2015.
