TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 647 CLOSED FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT IN FRANKLIN COUNTY

SALEM – Effective today, Monday, November 2, a section of Route 647 (Kay Fork Road) has been closed to traffic due to an emergency pipe replacement.

The road is closed approximately 1.2 miles east of Route 40 and 0.01 miles west of Route 659 (Hunts Road).

Motorists will need to seek an alternate route.

It is unknown at this time how long this section of road will be closed.
