TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 58 TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE IN PATRICK COUNTY

SALEM – As part of the project to upgrade Route 58 from two lanes to four lanes, a new traffic pattern has been scheduled for the Patrick County area of the project on July 7, weather permitting.

On July 7, drivers traveling westbound on Route 58 on the Meadows of Dan bypass where the four lane transitions into a two lane roadway will be directed onto the two lane roadway 500 feet east of the existing connection while the westbound lanes are constructed. Eastbound traffic will not be impacted with the traffic pattern change.

Directional signage, barricades and pavement markings will be in place to assist and direct the traveling public thru the new traffic pattern.

Traffic delays are possible during the transition to the new pattern. Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they travel through the work zone.
