TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 58 TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE IN CARROLL COUNTY

SALEM – Beginning on June 16, the Route 58 project that travels thru Carroll, Floyd and Patrick counties will have a change in the traffic pattern in the Carroll County portion of the project, weather permitting.

The new traffic pattern will begin 0.10 mile east of the Carroll/Floyd County line and proceed east for 0.70 mile to Route 780 (Turnip Patch Road). Traffic is being placed on a newly constructed section of the eastbound lane in order to construct the westbound lanes.

Directional signage and pavement markings will be in place to assist and direct the traveling public through the new traffic pattern.

Traffic delays are possible during the transition to the new pattern. Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they travel through the work zone.
