TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 58 TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGE IN FLOYD COUNTY

SALEM – As part of the project to upgrade Route 58 from two lanes to four lanes, a new traffic pattern has been scheduled for the Floyd County area of the project on April 28, weather permitting.

The new traffic pattern is located along the Route 58 corridor beginning at the Intersection of Route 620 (Tory Creek Road) and Route 58 eastbound for 0.6 mile. Drivers can expect to be diverted from the current lane of travel to a portion of the newly constructed road and then back onto the current travel lane.

Directional signage and pavement markings will be in place to assist and direct the traveling public thru the new traffic pattern.

Traffic delays are possible during the transition to the new pattern. Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they travel through the work zone.
