SALEM – As part of work beginning this week in Botetourt County, lane and road closures will be in place at three locations for three different projects.

In the town of Fincastle, Route 606 (Herndon Street) will be closed to traffic for bridge work beginning Monday, March 2 after 10 a.m. There will be a detour in place with signage directing traffic to use Route 630 (Main Street). The work is expected to be completed in April.

ROUTE 676 LANE CLOSURE
Daytime lane closures will be in place on Route 676 (Gravel Hill Rd.) beginning next week while repair work is performed underneath the bridge on I-81 over Route 676.  Motorists should watch for flaggers controlling traffic in the area. The repairs are expected to be completed in May.
