TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 727 IN BEDFORD COUNTY TO CLOSE FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT ON AUGUST 10

SALEM – Beginning Monday, August 10, at 8 a.m., a section of Route 727 (Crab Orchard Road) in Bedford County will be closed to traffic for a culvert replacement.

The road will be closed approximately 0.4 mile north of Route 626 (Smith Mountain Parkway) and 1.2 miles south of Route 731 (Gladdy Branch Road).

Weather permitting, the road is expected to reopen October 2.

Motorists will need to find alternate routes.
