TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 680 IN BEDFORD COUNTY TO CLOSE FOR BRIDGE REPLACEMENT ON AUGUST 11
Pedestrian bridge will be in place during replacement

SALEM – Beginning Tuesday, August 11, at 8 a.m., Route 680 (Wheatland Road) in Bedford County will be closed so the bridge over Wolf Creek can be replaced.

The bridge is located is approximately 1.3 miles south of Route 1130 (Sleepy Ridge Drive) and 0.3 mile north of Route 744 (Von Roy Road).

A walking bridge will be installed for pedestrian traffic that may need to cross while the bridge is out.

Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open on Wednesday, August 12 by 4:30 p.m.
