TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 602 IN BEDFORD COUNTY CLOSED FOR BRIDGE REPAIRS

SALEM  - On Wednesday, November 5, a section of Route 602 (Hunting Creek Road) in Bedford County will be closed to traffic to make repairs to the bridge over Hunting Creek located 0.75 mile west of Route 122 (Big Island Highway) and 0.85 mile east of where the road ends. The road will be closed between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open by 5 p.m.

A walk bridge for pedestrians will be in place during the road closure for access by foot to the section of Route 602 (Hunting Creek Road) west of the bridge to where the road ends.
