TRAFFIC ALERT: NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN COMING TO ROUTE 58

SALEM – As part of a construction project to widen 8.2 miles of Route 58 in Carroll, Floyd and Patrick counties, a traffic switch is planned for Thursday, Sept. 18 in Carroll and Floyd counties, weather permitting.

Two-way traffic will be shifted onto a newly construction 3.2 mile two-lane segment of Route 58 between Route 58’s eastern intersection with Route 646 (Cardinal Circle) in Carroll County and its intersection with Route 610 (Terrys Mill Road) in Floyd County.

Drivers should be alert to this change in traffic pattern and use caution.
