TRAFFIC ALERT: LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED FOR SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 77 IN CARROLL COUNTY

SALEM – Starting Monday, June 17, a right lane closure will be in place on southbound Interstate 77 between mile marker 3.5 and mile marker 6.5 in Carroll County.  Weather permitting, work will be performed daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  

The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph when work is being performed.  The lane closure is necessary for a rock stabilization project along southbound I-77.

Drivers should expect possible delays when traveling in this area.

Work at this location is expected to be completed in one to two weeks.
