SALEM – Weather permitting, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 25, a section of Route 628 (Bishops Creek Road) in Bedford County will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge repairs over Bishops Creek.

The location of the work is approximately 0.5 mile from Route 629 (Ford Meadows Road) and 0.15 mile from the Campbell County line.

Detour signs will be posted advising traffic of alternate routes. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays.
