SALEM – Weather permitting, a portion of Route 683 (Roger Road) in Floyd County will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. due to a pipe replacement.

The section of Route 683 starts approximately 0.5 mile from its intersection with Route 221.  Drivers will need to seek alternate routes around the closure.

This date is tentative and could be adjusted.  In the event of inclement weather, work will be rescheduled on the next available day.
