SALEM – Due to nighttime paving in Roanoke on Interstate 581 and the Route 220 Expressway, two off-ramps will be closed next week.  Weather permitting, work will be performed between 8 p.m. each night and continue until 6 a.m. the following morning.

On Sunday, May 13, the ramp at exit 4W that leads from southbound I-581 onto Orange Avenue will be closed.  

On Monday, May 14, the ramp that leads from southbound Route 220 Expressway onto Wonju Street will be closed.

Message boards will be in place advising motorists of the closures.  Drivers will need to seek alternate routes.

These dates and hours are tentative and could be adjusted due to weather or work schedule
