TRAFFIC ALERT: LANE CLOSURE FOR BRIDGE WORK TO IMPACT TRAFFIC ON SOUTHBOUND ROUTE 220 IN ROANOKE COUNTY

SALEM – Beginning at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound Route 220 in Roanoke County as crews work to repair the bridge over Back Creek. The bridge is located 4.5 miles south of Route 419 near Red Hill Baptist Church.

The left lane closure will remain in place from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10 until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11.

Drivers should expect possible delays and watch for signs.

These dates are tentative and could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
