SALEM –   Weather permitting, on Monday, Oct. 22, Route 693 (Farris Mine Road) will close for the replacement of the bridge over Big Reed Island Creek. The road will remain closed until November 2013.

The location of the work is near the intersection of Route 693 and Route 800 (Allison Hill Road).

A detour will be in place. Drivers should use caution in the area.
