SALEM – Beginning Monday, April 2, crews will be milling and paving the parking areas at the Ironto rest area located on northbound I-81 at mile marker 128 in Montgomery County.  

Weather permitting, work is expected to be performed Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.  Car parking at the rest area will not be available during these days and hours.  Truck parking at the rest area will be available at all times.

No paving is scheduled on Saturday, April 7 or Sunday, April 8.  Work is expected to be completed by Friday, April 13.

The paving completion date is tentative and could be adjusted due to weather or work schedule.
