TRAFFIC ALERT: PIPE REPLACMENT TO CLOSE SECTION OF ROUTE 673 (JACKS MOUNTAIN ROAD) IN FRANKLIN COUNTY

SALEM – Weather permitting, starting Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 a.m., work to replace a pipe will close a section of Route 673 (Jacks Mountain Road) in Franklin County.

The section of Route 673 starts about 0.5 mile south of Route 40 (Old Franklin Turnpike) and extends about 0.6 mile south.

Route 673 is expected to remain closed to through traffic until Friday, Dec. 30 at 5 p.m.  Drivers will need to seek alternate routes around the closure.

These dates and hours are tentative and could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
