TRAFFIC ALERT: EXPECT NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES ON STARKEY ROAD IN ROANOKE COUNTY STARTING NEXT WEEK

SALEM – Beginning Monday, Sept. 12, motorists should watch for nighttime lane closures on Starkey Road (Route 904) in Roanoke County, 300-feet north of the intersection with Buck Mountain Road (Route 679).

Crews will be drilling near the Starkey Road Bridge over the tributary to Back Creek. Nightly alternating lane closures will be in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Friday, Sept. 23.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and expect delays

These dates are tentative and could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
