TRAFFIC ALERT: WORK ON ROUTE 612 (POOR MOUNTAIN ROAD) IN ROANOKE COUNTY WILL BE RESCHEDULED

SALEM – Work to replace a bridge on Route 612 (Poor Mountain Road) in Roanoke County on Friday, July 23 has been cancelled.  

Crews had planned to replace the Route 612 bridge over Dry Creek this weekend.  As part of the bridge replacement, crews had planned to close Route 612 to through traffic just south of Route 639 (Harborwood Road) beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 23 through 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 24.  

The work to replace the bridge has been cancelled for July 23 and 24 and will be rescheduled at a later date.
