SALEM – Starting Tuesday, May 4, drivers should be alert to modifications to the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 220 and Route 966 (Rives Road) in Henry County.

The traffic signal change will require that drivers making left turns from Route 220 onto Route 966 or the adjacent shopping center will need to wait for a green arrow.  Currently, motorists can make the left turns by yielding on a solid green light.

Signs will be in place to advise motorists of the new traffic pattern at this location.  Motorists should use caution in this area.
