TRAFFIC ALERT: SLOPE REPAIRS TO IMPACT TRAFFIC ON ROUTE 11 IN BOTETOURT COUNTY

SALEM – Weather permitting, on Tuesday, March 9, work will begin to repair a slope along a section of Route 11 in Botetourt County.  The section of Route 11 is located about 0.1 mile north of Route 800 (Arch Mill Road).  The slope that will be repaired is along the north side of the bridge over Beckner Branch.

Flaggers will control traffic daily, Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Motorists should expect delays.

Weather permitting, estimated completion is late March.
