TRAFFIC ALERT: A PORTION OF ROUTE 116 WILL BE CLOSED IN ROANOKE COUNTY
SALEM – On Monday, July 13, a portion of Route 116 (Jae Valley Road) will be closed to through traffic just south of the intersection of Route 866 (Mount Pleasant Blvd). The road closure will last for approximately four weeks while crews make improvements to the Route 116 intersection with Route 866.
As part of the improvements, one leg of the intersection of Route 116 and Route 866 will be eliminated and site distance will be improved at the intersection. Access for local traffic will be maintained at all times. Detour information is listed below:
From the North:
From Jae Valley Road, turn left onto Mount Pleasant Blvd
Turn right onto Mayfield Drive
Turn left back onto Jae Valley Road
From the South:
From Jae Valley Road turn right onto Mayfield Drive
Turn left onto Mount Pleasant Blvd
Turn right onto Jae Valley Road
