VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON I-95/MAURY STREET INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN THE CITY OF RICHMOND
Public invited to learn more about the proposed interchange improvements on December 12

COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing on an improvements project proposed for the Interstate 95 interchange at Maury Street in the City of Richmond. Proposed improvements include replacing the signalized intersections at the ramp to and from Maury Street at Interstate 95 with a single-lane roundabout, which will eliminate prolonged periods of delays and improve safety within the project limits.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Blackwell Community Center, located at 300 E. 15th St., Richmond, VA 23224. This meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until December 22 by mailing them to Jason Zhang, P.E., project manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments can also be emailed to jason.zhang@vdot.virginia.gov. Please reference “I-95/Maury St. interchange improvements” in the subject line.
