VDOT TO HOLD COMMUNITY INFORMATION MEETING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT IN CHESTERFIELD
Public invited to learn more about the project May 24 at Beulah Elementary School
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a community information meeting on a proposed project to improve the intersection of Hopkins Rd. (Rt. 637) and Kingsland Rd. (Rt. 611) in Chesterfield County. A roundabout is planned to replace the existing traditional intersection. The new traffic configuration will address safety and road capacity needs to reduce crashes and congestion.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, May 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beulah Elementary School, located at 4216 Beulah Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23237. This meeting will be largely an open house format, which will provide attendees an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to learn more about the proposed project. A general information presentation will be given at 5:30 p.m.
