VDOT TO HOLD CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETING ON ROUTE 5 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
The bridge is located over Herring Creek in Charles City County

COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a citizen information meeting on the Route 5 bridge replacement project over Herring Creek in Charles City County.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church, located at 11000 Courthouse Road in Charles City County. The meeting will provide an opportunity VDOT to update stakeholders on the progress of the project and for individuals, businesses or organizations to ask questions.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the hearing to Keith Rider, P.E., Area Construction Engineer, to Keith.Rider@VDOT.Virginia.gov.  Please reference “Rt. 5 bridge replacement comments” in the subject line.
