VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS IN HANOVER COUNTY
The hearing will cover safety improvements at Mountain Road and Ashland Road
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on an improvements project proposed for the intersection of Mountain Road and Ashland Road in Hanover County.
The hearing will be held on tonight, July 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Twin Hickory Library, located at 5001 Twin Hickory Road, Glen Allen, VA 23059.
The hearing will address the intersection improvements, including the addition of four turn lanes and traffic signal upgrades that will improve safety and will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the hearing or until August 1 by mailing them to Adam Brooks, Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
