VDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON NEWBYS BRIDGE ROAD CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS IN CHESTERFIELD
The hearing will cover four projects between Sussex Drive and Celestial Lane

COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a design public hearing on the Newbys Bridge Road (Route 649) corridor improvements project in Chesterfield County.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 22 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Chalkley Elementary School, located at 3301 Turner Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
 

The hearing will address the four proposed construction operations that will improve safety and travel between Sussex Drive and Celestial Lane and will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the hearing or until August 1 by mailing them to Cynthia Crouch, PMP, Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002. Comments also can be emailed to Cynthia.Crouch@VDOT.Virginia.gov. Please reference “Newbys Bridge Road corridor improvements public hearing comment” in the subject line.
