VDOT TO HOLD CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETING ON INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS IN HENRICO COUNTY
The meeting will cover pedestrian accommodations along Brook Road near St. Joseph’s Villa

COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a citizen information meeting on a pedestrian accommodations project at the intersections along Brook Road (Routes 1) at Saint Joseph’s Villa and Villa Park Drive/Wilkinson Road in Henrico County.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the St. Joseph’s Villa Gym, located at 8000 Brook Road, Richmond, VA 23227.

The meeting will address the safety and mobility of pedestrians and vehicular traffic within the project limits, including traffic signal upgrades, curb ramp reconstruction and crosswalks/markings. This citizen information meeting will provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.

Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the hearing or until September 20 by mailing them to Kenneth Wilkinson, Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
