ROUTE 60 PAVING PROJECT STARTS MONDAY IN POWHATAN
Pavement improvements to continue through May

COLONIAL HEIGHTS—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will begin repaving Route 60 (James A. Anderson Highway) westbound between Dorset Road (Route 622) and Red Lane Road (Route 628) Monday, March 22. Motorists should expect temporary, alternating lane closures from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Starting Monday, April 12 there will be continuous, single lane closures through May 2010. Last year, VDOT repaved the eastbound lanes in this area. The 1.6 mile project is expected to cost approximately $755,000.
