Route 27/110 Overnight Ramp Closures October 1 - 4
Detour in place during bridge beam painting
Update: Due to weather, the closures detailed below have been extended. The Thursday night, Oct. 4 closure from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5 has been canceled, and closures are now scheduled Tuesday night, Oct. 9 through Friday night, Oct. 12 from 10 p.m. each night until 4 a.m. the following morning.
ARLINGTON – The ramp from eastbound Route 27 to northbound Route 110 will be closed nightly (weather permitting) Monday night, Oct. 1 through Thursday night, Oct. 4 for bridge beam painting according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The closures will occur each night from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. the following morning.
Traffic will be detoured via Boundary Channel Access Road, Boundary Channel Drive and I-395 back to northbound Route 110.
The work is part of the Route 27 over Route 110 project, which is scheduled for completion later this fall.
