I-95 Southbound in Lorton Overnight Lane Closures Rescheduled
Between Lorton Road and Route 1 for pavement patching


Update: The closures detailed below have been extended. In addition to occurring Thursday night, Oct. 4 as scheduled, they will be taking place Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11 (weather permitting). The closures will run from 9:30 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. the following morning.


LORTON
– Due to this week’s weather, overnight double lane closures on southbound I-95 between Lorton Road (Exit 163) and Route 1 (Exit 161) for pavement patching have been rescheduled for Monday night, Oct. 1 through Thursday night, Oct. 4, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Two of the four general purpose lanes of southbound I-95 will be closed from 9:30 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
