Route 606 Closures in Loudoun Sunday Night
Full closures up to 20 minutes each for traffic shift onto new pavement

STERLING – Lane closures will occur along Route 606 between Evergreen Mills Road and Pebble Run Place the night of Sunday, Feb. 19 to allow traffic to be shifted onto new pavement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

One lane of Route 606 will be closed beginning at 10 p.m., with traffic being controlled by flagging. There will then be intermittent full closures lasting up to 20 minutes between midnight and 5 a.m.

This is the first in a series of planned traffic shifts to allow construction between Evergreen Mills Road and the future Arcola Boulevard intersection. These shifts will also enable the new Loudoun County Parkway segment to open as scheduled in fall 2017. The entire Route 606 widening project is scheduled for completion in summer 2018.

All work is weather permitting.
