Evergreen Mills Road Flagging November 17 & 22
Rumble strip installation in area of Watson Road

LEESBURG – Evergreen Mills Road (Route 621) in the area of Watson Road (Route 860) will be the location of alternating single-lane traffic controlled by flagging, weather permitting, Friday, Nov. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

On Friday, Nov. 17, crews will install rumble strips on both sides of the road and in the centerline to improve safety for drivers approaching the Evergreen Mills Road curves just north and south of Watson Road.  Temporary roadway markings will be placed that day with permanent markings installed Nov. 22.

Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
