VDOT PUBLIC HEARING WEDNESDAY FOR HUNTER MILL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Join VDOT June 17 at Flint Hill Elementary School
VIENNA—The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a design public hearing Wednesday, June 17 on plans to replace and widen the temporary Hunter Mill Road (Route 674) bridge over Difficult Run in Fairfax County with a new permanent bridge.
The public can stop by to review and discuss plans between 6:30 and 8 p.m. at Flint Hill Elementary School, 2444 Flint Hill Road, Vienna, VA 22181.
The meeting will be an open-house format with VDOT staff on hand to discuss project information and answer questions.
Citizens may provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by June 29, 2015 to Mr. Brian Morrison, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. Comments may also be emailed to email@example.com. Please reference “Hunter Mill Road Bridge Replacement” in the subject line.
The existing bridge has an average traffic count of 17,000 vehicles per day, and a projected count of 22,000 vehicles per day for the design year of 2035.
