VDOT PUBLIC HEARING ON WALKER ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
February 3 at Forestville Elementary School
GREAT FALLS—Join the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) on Wednesday, Feb. 3 for a design public hearing on plans to replace the existing bridge and approaches of Route 681 (Walker Road) over Piney Run in Fairfax County. The project team will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Please note this meeting was rescheduled from December 15.
The public can stop by to review and discuss plans between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Forestville Elementary School, 1085 Utterback Store Road, Great Falls, VA 22066.
Citizens may provide comments at the hearing or submit them by March 1, 2016 to Mr. Terry L. Yates, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. Comments may also be emailed to email@example.com. Please reference “Route 681 over Piney Run” in the subject line.
The $4.1 million project is scheduled to begin construction in summer 2018.
