ROUTE 7 TRAFFIC SHIFT TOMORROW NIGHT
Eastbound Route 7 lane closures, access to/from Sugarland Road being restored
DRANESVILLE – Between 9 p.m. Thursday, October 29 and 5 a.m. Friday, October 30, eastbound Route 7 traffic will be shifted to newly constructed lanes between Rolling Holly Drive and Reston Avenue, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Alternating eastbound lane closures will occur and motorists can expect delays.
In addition, Sugarland Road at Route 7 will reopen to traffic in its reconstructed and improved configuration early Friday morning.
The work is part of the project to widen Route 7 from four to six lanes between Rolling Holly Drive and Reston Avenue. The $34 million project is scheduled for completion in December.
