Two right lanes closed near Dale Boulevard for emergency milling and paving

WOODBRIDGE—Beginning at 9:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26 until 4:30 a.m. Monday, April 27, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will again close two right lanes on I-95 North near Dale Boulevard, Exit 156, to continue an emergency milling and paving operation. One lane will remain open in this area for northbound traffic.

The ramp from I-95 North to Dale Boulevard will also be closed during this time and drivers will be detoured to the next exit at Prince William Parkway and directed to I-95 South to access the Dale Boulevard exit. Additionally, the highway rest area at Dale City will be closed. Tonight's milling and paving work is needed to complete removal of any remaining paper dye that was spilled on the road as a result of a tractor-trailer crash that occurred Thursday, April 23.

Drivers traveling in the affected vicinity should expect delays and are advised to choose an alternative route.
