CREWS UP FOR A LATE WINTER STORM
Drivers be alert; trouble spots pre-treated for morning rush

FAIRFAX—Northern Virginia drivers are asked to be alert to a potentially slushy drive tomorrow morning, with one to two inches of snow forecasted early in the day. About 380 trucks will deploy for Friday’s rush hour, with pavement and bridge temperatures expected to hover at 32 degrees from 3 a.m. through the early afternoon.

Through the day today, crews pre-treated trouble spots such as bridges, ramps and overpasses on major roads in Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington and Prince William counties.
