VDOT HEARING FOR DULLES ACCESS STUDY NEXT WEEK
Join VDOT June 13 at Creighton’s Corner Elementary

ASHBURN—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing for the location study on improving access to Dulles Airport on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Creighton’s Corner Elementary School, 23171 Minerva Drive in Ashburn.

Join VDOT to learn more about the Environmental Assessment and Location Study to improve passenger and cargo access to the western side of Dulles International Airport and the future Metrorail stations in Loudoun County. The study analyzes the environmental impacts of constructing a limited-access highway between Route 50 and Route 606 (Old Ox Road).

The hearing will be an “open forum” format, where those interested can stop by between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to learn more about the study and talk one-on-one with VDOT staff and the study team.

At the hearing, comments may be left in a drop-box or taken by a court reporter. They can also be sent to VDOT through June 28, 2013 to:

Mail: Tom Fahrney, Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030
Email: meeting_comments@VDOT.virginia.gov (Please include “Improving Access to Dulles Airport” in the subject line)
