AVOID I-395 SOUTH OVERNIGHT DEC. 13–16
Closures from Little River Turnpike to Springfield Interchange for overhead sign replacement
Springfield— Friday, Dec. 13 through Monday, Dec. 16, drivers can expect overnight lane closures on southbound Interstate 395 from Little River Turnpike to the Springfield Interchange. Crews will repair and replace overhead signs and support systems spanning the HOV and general purpose lanes. Lane closures are as follows:
Fri., Dec. 13, 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.: Three of four lanes will be closed on I-395.
All lanes will be closed on I-395 HOV.
Sat., Dec. 14, 10 p.m. – 9 a.m.: Three of four lanes will be closed on I-395.
Sat., Dec. 14, 11 p.m. – 9 a.m.: All lanes will be closed on I-395 HOV.
Sun., Dec. 15, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.: Three of four lanes will be closed on I-395.
Sun., Dec. 15, 11 p.m. – 4 a.m.: All lanes will be closed on I-395 HOV.
Mon., Dec. 16, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.: Three of four lanes will be closed on I-395.
Mon., Dec. 16, 11 p.m. – 4 a.m.: All lanes will be closed on I-395 HOV.
Sign work over the HOV lanes is being performed during closures already scheduled as part of the I-95 Express Lanes project.
These nightly closures may include 15-minute stoppages on all lanes. Signs and message boards will be set up. State Troopers will also be on site. Drivers should use alternate routes and avoid work areas as traffic will be slow.
